Certainly Not! It is much beyond. We wish that Things or the Conditions were that Simple as it sounds but it certainly does not (sigh) . We all might have come across at-least one or heard about someone in our Family, Neighbourhood or at Work Place having the thyroid disorder(My mom suffers from Thyroid disorder as well)

Like mentioned above, thyroid disorder could have a series of symptoms to it, the most common one being thyroweight. Do we know Thyroweight is weight gain and tiredness experienced in thyroid disorder. The other symptoms associated with it would be hair fall, fatigue, dry skin and constipation. When one experiences more than on of these symptoms , its time for a test!

After that Brain storming session with the Doctor, the Event pleasantly surprised us with the Beautiful Guest of Honor, My Favorite Diva of the 90’s Juhi Chawla! the fact that she suports Thyroid awareness certainly showcases her Most Loving Side of Human Spirit 🙂 Her words touched every-one there in the hall with a simple fact that her Father in law and her husband Jay Mehta both suffer from Thyroid disorder. She also added that her Hair-Stylist also Suffers from Thyroid disorder and with a Simple Pill they are living their life to the Fullest!
The session touched its greatest height after meeting some Real Life Heroes! One Amongst them was Our Very Own Geeta Shridhar.
They shared their Inspirational Stories on how did they took their best foot forward to live their Lives to their fullest with the disorder! Accompanying Geeta was Varsha who is a stand up comedian and has battled the disorder successfully. Their liveliness in sharing their stories was a true inspiration for all.

Dont take life too seriously- go in for walks, enjoy the moment, stay healthy with your Family and friends. Life is much happier when lived with simplicity!
Go in for health check ups periodically, seek Medical help when your body signals an alarm, even if its a small weight gain or tiredness or hair loss.
